1) Ishan Kishan:

Ishan Pranav Kumar Pandey Kishan aka Ishan Kishan is a player hailing from the state of Bihar. from early life he was very passionate about cricket. His role models are MS Dhoni and Adam Gilchrist. He is from the city of Patna and started playing for the Bihar team but due to issues between the Bihar cricket association and bcci, he started playing for the state of Jharkhand. He made great scores for Jharkhand and helped them win many trophies. On 18th July 2021, he made his international debut by playing ODI against Srilanka, He was able to score 59 on 42 balls.

Ishan made his first appearance in ipl when he was bought by Gujarat Lions in 2016. Later in 2018, he was brought by Mumbai Indians again in 2020 he was bought by Mumbai Indians where he won the most sixes award of the season. By 2022 he has become the second-highest-paid player bought for a whopping 15.25 crores by Mumbai Indians just behind Chris Morris and Yuvraj Singh who were bought at 16.25 crores and 16 crores respectively 

2) Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar was born in Uttar Pradesh in 1990. He is a medium right-hand baller and made his domestic debut by playing for Rajasthan. Once he took eight wickets for 10 runs. He made his international debut on 8 July 2018 by playing T20 against England. He also achieved the first hatrick of Indian players in T20 playing against Bangladesh.

He is bought by CSK for a whopping 14 crore which makes him the second-highest-paid player in ipl 2022.

3) Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer was born in 1994 in Mumbai. He plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket and is acting as a captain for Kolkata night riders in 2022. He made his international debut by playing T20 against England. He also played as a substitute against Virat Kohli in the same year.

He was bought by Delhi capitals for 2.2 crores in 2015, in 2018 he was again bought by Delhi capitals this time he was made captain of DC making him the youngest captain of DC.

He was once again retained by Delhi in 2020 but was bought by Kolkatta night riders for 12.25 crores making him the third highest-paid player in ipl auction in 2022.

4) Liam Livingstone

Liam Livingstone is the first international player in the list of highest-paid players in ipl auction 2022. He hails from England and is a right-handed opening batsman. He gained media coverage when he scored 350 runs in just 138 balls. Previously he was bought by Rajasthan layers but in the 2022 ipl auction Punjab kings were able to buy him with a whopping 11.5 crores. Making him the highest-paid foreign player.

5) Harshal Patel

Harshal Patel is a right-arm bowler with a slow but effective ball. He rose to fame when he took 23 wickets by playing in under 19. His family had decided to move to the USA but his brother Tapan Patel seeing his passion for cricket decided to stay back and help him follow his passion and continue to play cricket. His brother's support did not go to waste and he is now one of the best bowlers in India. He made his will debut in 2021 when he took five wickets against Mumbai Indians in the first match of ipl. In November 2021 he made his international debut by playing a T20 international against New Zealand. In 2022 again he was bought by Royal challengers Banglore for a total sum of 10.75 crores.

6) Shardul Thakur 

Shardul Thakur is a bowler and had started playing for Mumbai in domestic cricket against Rajasthan. The start of his career was not very good. Finally, he took eight wickets and  Mumbai won its Ranji trophy. He was also criticized for his short height which was not suitable for fast bowling and also because he was a bit overweight.

He made his ODI debut playing against Sri Lanka. There was also a controversy over him wearing the No 10 jersey of Sachin Tendulkar. Later he changes his jersey number and BCCI retired the number 10 jersey.

In 2014 he was bought by kings 11 Punjab and later by rising Pune supergiants. In 2018 he was bought by CSK and in the 2022 ipl auction he was bought by Delhi Capitals for 10.75 crores.
